The location was perfect for our family getaway. Having a playground and a beach just across the road was a dream come true for our 4-year-old. It made keeping her entertained so easy and convenient. the staff managing the apartments were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and hassle-free.
There was one major downside during our stay. The dishwasher in our apartment seriously needed updating.

Stayed August 26-29 2016, Room 8. Manager helped carry items up to room after cajoled into it by his wife.
Gorgeous weather a bonus, except for first night - no aircon for heating on cold mornings/evenings (would not be pleasant in bad winter weather).
Going by address, hotel hard to find because not ocean-front as advertised. No one in office on arrival, front door to building locked, intercom had answering machine message, also tried both mob numbers on front of building which went to voicemail, eventually after 20 mins heard a door slam, banged on glass door and eventually a resident opened up, then manager David Fleming in labourers work clothes let us in with excuses. Settled in 45 after arrival. Travelled 3 hours to get there. False advertising - building not as advertised on The Esplanade directly opposite ocean as shown online, instead on a busy road where Landsborough Rd becomes The Esplanade. No view of ocean from 2nd story, opposite a park. Instead had expected to walk straight out of hotel to the water. No place to put suitcases, so used ironing board. Only 1 bedside light in the single beds room. Drafty lounge/kitchen area (stayed in winter). No aircon, only small blow heater for heating, very cold on first night. No coffee table for magazines or cups next to 2 very large immoveable lounge suites set side by side along a wall. Small tv (immoveable) miles away from lounge suites on opposite wall. Remote on/off switch for tv doesn't work, have to do it manually. Ensuite shower cubicle very slippery, needs a shower mat. Light doesn't work in hallway leading up to ensuite bathroom so can't see suitcase in the cupboard unless put on bathroom light (ironing board used for 2nd case). No lift so 4 flights of stairs to 2nd floor, lucky not to be on 3rd. Internet 100mb free per day. Departure: 9am - No one in office Recorded message on intercom and mobiles given by managers Lauren and David Fleming. Couldn't reach staff so left a note with keys in office after waiting 10 mins. Got ph call in car 45 mins after departure, but not from the Flemings. Summary: Very poor management. Please revise online advertising. Wary of reviews on fairseas site - all seem similar and fake, with replies by Flemings.

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was just perfect for us. We had a 4-year-old with us, and she absolutely loved having a playground right across the road from the hotel. And not just that, there was also a beautiful beach right there too! It was such a convenience to have both options for fun and relaxation within walking distance. The staff managing the hotel were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of during our time here.
Nothing I didn't like, to be fair.

I had an amazing stay at the holiday apartments! the location was perfect, with a playground and beach right across the road. It was ideal for my 4, year, old who had a blast all week. the staff managing the apartments were incredibly friendly and helpful. the room was clean and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. the dishwasher was a bit outdated and difficult to use, but that was a minor inconvenience. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend staying here for a fun, filled family vacation.
There was one aspect that could use improvement , the dishwasher in the room seriously needs updating. It was a bit tricky to use as the runners/wheels were broken and opening the drawers was almost dangerous.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. the location was absolutely perfect for me. There was a lovely playground for my 4-year-old right across the road from the hotel, and even better, there was a beautiful beach too. It was such a joy to have both of these amenities within walking distance.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The location, service, and room amenities were all exceptional.

We had a fantastic time at our beachfront apartment with our 4-year-old. Having a playground and a beach within walking distance was perfect for the family. Plus, the views were breathtaking, and the sea breeze was delightful. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning.
It seriously needs updating.
